From Oct. 19 to 30 a new work by the art group rAndom International, titled «Fly», (2011), will be shown at the main exhibition of the Moscow Biennale. The group, which was founded in 2002 in London, consists of Stewart Wood, Flo Ortkrass, and Hans Cox. The artists combine science, design and art, and create interactive experimental high-tech installations.
«Fly» seeks to understand the collective mind, and it features a video camera in a glass cube that will move about on a trolley acting somewhat like an insect. How the camera moves will depend on the behavior of the person who enters the room. If several people are present in the room, then the camera will move about chaotically from one to the other.
