"Defragmentation of Memory" - this is a multimedia project. It consists of works of four artists. Their works are joined by a common theme: re-creation, re-organization and restoration of human memory. By defragmenting our memory we follow the links of hypertext and try to compose the whole from dissected fragments. We re-write fragments afresh, re-creating living texture of our memory.

Authors of the project address to collective unconsciousness, to memory which is passed from generation to generation, linking memories of individual people. The project is built on principles of movement from general to particular, from whole to details, from eternal to momentous: from memory inbuilt into texts of Holy Bible and written in structures of the Universe, to our individual memories and self-identification.
